Cinnamon Ornaments

You will need

• 1 cup cinnamon
• 1 tbsp cloves
• 1 tbsp nutmeg
• 2 tbsp white glue
• 3/4 cup apple sauce [ let this drain in a strainer for several hours]
• Cookie cutters
• Straw
• Ribbon

1. Mix the cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg with the apple sauce and glue.
2. Work the mixture in your hands until it is smooth and well mixed.
1. No lumps.
3. Roll out to 0.7 cm [1/4 inch] thickness and cut with cookie cutters.
4. Use a straw to make a hanging hole.
5. Put on wire rack to dry at room temperature for several days.
6. turn twice daily as this avoids curling.
7. Thread a piece of ribbon to hang tying off with a double knot..
