String paintng

Equipment

• paint
• pieces of thin string or wool.

• Small sheets of paper or precut cardboard.

Directions

1. Soak pieces of string in each container of paint.
2. Fold the sheet of paper or card in half,
3. Open out.
4. Arrange the paint covered pieces of string in a pattern over one half of the paper/cardboard.
5. Fold the other half over the string pattern.
6. Press gently outward from the centre towards the edges.
7. Unfold and see the pattern made.
