Make your own Slippery Finger paint.

You will need

  • a bowl 
  • a spoon
  • A saucepan
  • containers

Ingredients

  • 1 envelop of gelatine [ about 1 tsp full]
  • 14 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup soap flakes or detergent
  • Powdered dye
Directions
  1. Soak gelatine in a bowl with the 1/4 cup of cold water.
  2. In a saucepan, combine cornflour and 3/4 cup cold water.
  3. Stir 2 cups of hot water into the mixture.
  4. Cook over a medium heat.
  5. Stir until the mixture comes to the boil.
  6. When mixture becomes smooth and creamy looking, remove from heat.
  7. Blend in softened gelatine.
  8. Add soap flakes or detergent.
  9. Stir mixture well until everything is thoroughly disolved.
  10. Add a fractions of a tsp of powdered dye to colour.
