Making prints

Equipment

  • Shapes for printing [cotton reels, marbles, forks]
  • Pieces of cardboard
  • Corks
  • Pieces of nature - Grass heads, Leaves
  • Pieces of foam
  • Polystyrene
  • Pieces of potato, carrot or turnip.
  • Plastic saucer or lid of ice cream container - lined with foam rubber.
  • Tissues or wipes.
  • Small quantities of brightly coloured paints.
  • Sheets of paper.
  • Sting or other threads.
  • An apron
Directions

  1. Place a small dsp of paint in each container so that the pad is saturated.
  2. Press each shape on the pad.
  3. Press the shape onto the paper.
